We are an trans-denominational community that embraces each person's unique magnificence. We believe that all is divine and sacred and that you are a divine expression of God itself. We don't see God as a judging being in the heavens, but as an ever-present essence of love, harmony and intelligence that indwells all that is. At our Center we embrace your unique spiritual journey and path. We offer tools and practices that allow you to develop spiritually without being intrusive to your own way of relating to and approaching the divine.
Most of all we are a community. You will find so much love and acceptance here. You will not find guilt, shame, or hear that you are a sinner. Instead, you will find others who are on a similar journey of discovering and awakening to that great essence of our life that is Spirit. You will find people who are genuinely leading a life based in Spirit.
I first experienced a United Centers for Spiritual Living affiliate in 1994 in the San Francisco Bay Area and my life was changed forever. Finally, I could breathe a sigh of relief. I was not alone on the planet after all. There were others who also found themselves to be deeply spiritual and yet not fitting into traditional religious settings. There were others who meditated and explored teachings of the mystics, and there was actually a whole body of metaphysical writings I had never even heard of. I haven't missed a Sunday since. I studied everything I could get my hands on that affirmed our beauty and magnificence and shed light on the discovery of our inner essence of Spirit. In a matter of ten years from that first day, I became a New Thought minister as I was called to share this empowering experience with others.
