Youth Program Theme for May 2012: "Love is a Mother!"
This month we focus on our individual expressions of the One God - being and expressing ourselves as gifts of the Divine. Our consciousness creates our own reality.
As I express the Love within, I am a aware of the Divine Light within me. I am a Divine Gift to myself and to the world. I am grateful for this.

Creative Arts, Science and Spirituality Youth Camp: A Success Story
In this pilot program, ten kids ages 4-11 came to our Center and participated in a variety of creative activities – including dramatic play, science, dance, visual arts, creative movement, and 'Stand-by-er' (as opposed to by-stander) activities. Interwoven throughout the camp and each activity was the underlying theme of ‘empowering kids – creating community’ which was anchored each morning during group session wherein the youth were given an "I AM" Affirmation for the day and sang songs that–supported each child in valuing and feeling good about themselves, and in loving, respecting and honoring others and all forms of life.

Invitations to Participate:
Weekly Visioning – Each Sunday, before service at 10:45 - 11:10 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Visioning is a powerful community spiritual practice that is facilitated by the Practitioner Core. Everyone is invited to participate this awakening experience.
Volunteering Your Time and Talent – If you are moved to get more involved and integrated into our Spiritual Community please pick up a copy of the Connections Directory in the Fellowship Hall. This is compilation of volunteer opportunities where you can make a difference in the life of CSLD.
The CLSD Board of Trustees May meeting TBA. These are open meetings and all are encouraged to attend. If you are curious or interested in serving please talk to a board member.
Ministry of Prayer – Our professional Practitioners are here to support and assist you in dealing with life challenges. They are available after service for a confidential focused Spiritual Tune-up and also by appointment . Practitioners are listed in the bulletin.
